Deanne completed her BSW in Social Work from UW-Madison, and a Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Higher Ed from Lakeland University. She’s been working as an advisor at UW-Green Bay since 2003, working with undecided and undeclared students until recently. She now advises students in the Human Biology major, hoping they don’t figure out she barely passed Chemisty in high school.

Deanne’s favorite part of advising is the “detective work” that comes with solving those quirky issues with degree requirements that students can’t quite figure out, and being an advocate for them to make sure these issues are solved.

She lives in Green Bay with her husband, two kids, and dog Joe; and can often be found watching True Crime docs while crafting and listening to Harry Styles.
