Job Summary
The Graduate Recruiter is responsible for recruiting potential MBA and MS students to the Lubar College of Business and the Master’s in Data Science and Bachelor’s in Data Analytics programs within Academic Affairs. This professional will develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment plan, including developing and managing relationships with individual prospects utilizing appropriate sales, marketing, and client lead techniques; developing corporate/employer relationships; developing alumni relationships; coordinating and leading graduate recruitment events; and working with other units in the Lubar College to cross-market services. The Graduate Recruiter will establish and implement tracking systems to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and will analyze prospect and admissions data to further inform the process. Flexibility for scheduling early, late, and weekend work hours is required to accommodate programming needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One year or more of experience in recruitment related activities
  • Evidence of excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree
  • Demonstrated understanding of recruitment and marketing techniques, as well as related computer applications
  • Experience working in higher education in the area of recruitment, career and/or academic advising.
  • Experience developing and managing recruitment programs and events
  • Networking experience with professional associations and interfacing with the business community
Target Salary Range Final salary offer will be commensurate with experience and education
