Mission Statement

WACADA provides opportunities for networking and professional development, encourages members to participate in professional development activities, supports and promotes professional standards of academic advising, fosters recognition of academic advising as a profession; and, as an affiliate of the National Academic Advising Association, supports NACADA goals and programs.

Membership Update

Happy Early Start to Spring, WACADA Members! Luckily, we got to enjoy some great weather for Spring Break; even if most of us enjoyed it from the “great indoors” of our respective offices! A review of our membership numbers show that we’re doing well; we currently have 235 members, which is up 14 from our post-conference count in fall! And on top of growing our membership, we’re also making strides in utilizing our social media sites to spread the word about WACADA....read more
