Job Summary
The Graduate Engagement Coordinator is located in the Lubar College of Business and reports directly to the Director of Graduate Programs. The Office of Graduate Programs in the Lubar College of Business is searching for an individual to assist with event planning and student support/engagement. The Graduate Engagement Coordinator is a strategic member of the Graduate Programs team and will require the individual to work with graduate students and administrators to design and coordinate on and off campus events for Lubar graduate students. This individual will also have Executive MBA program student support responsibilities. They will respond to inquiries from graduate students and also represent UWM at on and off campus events such as welcome events, networking events, popup bootcamp events, registration events, and information sessions. This position will also help with marketing of the various graduate programs, by assisting with print and web-based marketing materials.

The regular hours for this position will be between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Evening and weekend hours are required and allow for a flexible weekday schedule.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• One year or more for working in event planning
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Business or related field
• Evidence of experience working with diverse populations
• Demonstrated experience working in higher education in the area of career and academic advising
• Evidence of experience working collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment
• Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills
