WACADA Sponsored Grant Program


Advisors are responsible to their professional role as advisors and to themselves personally. The Wisconsin Academic Advising Association is committed to assisting members in participating in professional development opportunities through classes, workshops, seminars, and research.

Grants will be awarded to a maximum of $250.00 each for professional development purposes. Award winners will be announced in the newsletter and at the WACADA Fall Conference. Funds will be disbursed upon approval of the grant.

Criteria:

  • Recipient must be a member of WACADA
  • Recipient must use Professional Development Grant for activities that surround Academic Advising issues
  • Recipient must share their professional development experience with colleagues in their individual institution, or at a seminar, workshop, or conference (such as WACADA or NACADA)


Process:

    Interested individuals must submit a brief proposal on the accompanying application form with a statement about your current position and institution, the professional development experience you wish funded, and how you will share your experience with other advisors. Please include your name, work address, city, state, zip code, phone number, email, title, and school/institution.
